Live poker is making a big comeback in Europe as several operators have announced the return of their live tours across the continent.
PokerStars, partypoker, 888poker, Unibet, Winamax and even Triton Poker have lined up their respective poker tournaments this summer, making it the first time a wide variety of live festivals will be held across Europe since pandemic.
In fact, Winamax and Unibet will be live again after more than two years, while PokerStars, 888poker and partypoker will also return to Spain for the first time since COVID wreaked havoc on the world.
The Iberian market in Spain, in particular, will host a series of live events over the coming months, starting with the Winamax Poker Tour in Madrid in the first week of May, followed by 888poker immediately in Barcelona. Triton Poker debuts in Madrid and partypoker brings its MILLIONS Europe stop to Madrid in June.
Spain has already hosted a number of events this year and the summer wants to be full for live poker enthusiasts.
The country recently hosted the Madrid PokerStars-sponsored Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT) in late March, as well as several stops at the Spanish Poker Championship (CEP), which is becoming the longest live poker tour in Spain. .
In the meantime, operators will also host their stops in other Mediterranean regions such as Malta and Monaco. PokerStars’ EPT Monte Carlo will return in three years, while Unibet will return to Malta for the first time in three years at the end of September.
