European Poker Tour, starts at the Monte Carlo Casino for the event which will run until May 7 in the Principality of Monaco.

The European Poker Tour returns to Munich today at the Monte Carlo Casino from April 28 to May 7, 2022. The world-renowned poker festival will feature 48 tournaments and two online qualifying freerolls.

After a three-year hiatus, the Ept marks its return to Sporting Monte-Carlo’s iconic Salle des Étoiles, which hosted the tour for the first time in 2005.

Over the past two decades, the Ept Monte Carlo has evolved into one of the most prestigious live poker events in the world, attracting participants from recreational players to elite professionals.

THE SCHEDULE OF THE EVENT – The 2022 tournament program will once again feature a variety of buy-ins and games, inviting players of all calibers to the table.

The main event will obviously be from € 5,300 and stands out in the tournament schedule, at the center of the stage from May 2.

Regional players can enjoy the charm of the € 1,100 French Poker Series (FPS) Main Event, the € 2,200 FPS High Roller and the € 550 FPS Cup.

Munich has also been one of the most popular destinations for high-stakes action and the Ept continues to follow this tradition. The festival boasts a € 100,000 Super High Roller and a handful of five-digit buy-in tournaments, including a € 25,000 three-day Ept High Roller.

FIVE DAYS OF CARDS-UP STREAMING FROM MAY 3 – PokerStars TV will cover five days of action at Ept Monte Carlo, with the first airing on May 3. Hosts James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton will be joined by expert commentators Nick Walsh, Griffin Benger and Maria Ho. Each stream will include covered player cards; departure times will therefore be subject to a 30 minute safety delay. The broadcasts can be watched on PokerStars’ YouTube and Twitch channels. Live streaming will also be available on the PokerStars LIVE Facebook page.

POKERSTARS AMBASSADORS – Ept Monte Carlo will see a strong contingent of PokerStars Ambassadors in action. Representing the red spades will be Alejandro “Papo MC” Lococo, Andre Akkari, Benjamin Rolle, Ben Spragg, Jennifer Shahade, Parker Talbot, Rafael Moraes, Ramon Colillas, Sam Grafton, Nick Walsh. Benjamin Bruneteaux, Julien Brecard, Alberto Perez, Guillermo Sanz, Steve Enriquez and David Gutierrez are also arriving in Munich.

HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES – All persons entering the premises must wear a mask for the duration of their visit. It is not necessary to present a Covid-19 health pass as a condition of entry. All persons in the casino must follow the instructions of the staff and security in accordance with the security protocol. Relevant instructions and navigation will be reported throughout the casino to help observe security measures. Hand sanitizers will be available on site.
