RGPS Headed to the Bay Area for Graton Casino Stop February 28-March 8

After finishing a Casino Jamul in San Diego, the award nominee RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) will stay in California and go to Casino Graton to the Bay Area for the final stop of their “Checkpoint” season, which runs from February 28th to March 8th.

It’s an exciting time for the RGPS team as they have once again been nominated for ‘Best Medium Major’ of the year Global Poker Awards and the founder of RunGood Tana Karn he is also shortlisted for ‘Industry Person of the Year’. It’s also a busy time for the com team RGPS horseshoe tunic will take place next to the Bay Area stop from February 28th to March 5th.

The RGPS Bay Area stop will feature several ring events and culminate with the $800 buy-in main event with a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool up for grabs from March 3-5, which PokerNews will be on site to report on.

Game events and mixed rewards

The $250,000 guaranteed Main Event will be preceded by a series of ring events, starting on February 28 with a $250 Over 50 NLH Ring Eventa $250 6-Max NLH Ring Event already $200 Guest Reward NLH Ring Event.

The Guest Bounty event is one of several bounty tournaments at the Bay Area stop, which will also feature a $360 Black Chip Rewards Ring Event already $200 Double Green Chip Bounty Ring Event.

There will also be plenty of Omaha action and mixed games throughout the stop, including a Pot Limit Omaha Ring Eventa Boundary Ring Event 08one Omaha 8/Stud 8 Ring Event already Omaha Mixed Ring Event (Big O, PLO, PLO8).all of which cost $300 to enter.

Other highlights of the RGPS stop include a $125 NLH Survivor Event where one in ten players will win $1,000 cash and one two-day $250 Monster Stack Ring Event with a guaranteed prize of $25,000.

The RGPS Bay Area Main Event will feature four starting flights as it looks to crack the $250,000 guarantee. The event will come down to a winner on March 5 along with several other ring events as the series closes.

Previous winners

Last year, the RGPS Bay Area $600 Main Event drew a record field of 1,144 runners for a prize pool of $594,880. Omaha Specialist Kulwant Singh took down the event for $100,070 after defeating the opponent head-to-head Bryan Saltzmanwho in turn took home $69,115.

Includes other highlights from the 2022 Bay Area stop Kevin Goldman knocking down Event no. 1: $250 for seniors for $12,100 and Svetlana Meinikova winning Event #2: 250 6-Max for $5,690 after an even cut Ashkun Latevardi i Angelo Kratsas.

After the Bay Area and Tunica stops are over, the RunGood team will head over best bet Jacksonville in Florida for the next “Checkpoint” stop which will take place from March 23rd to April 2nd.
