The first round of the WSOP MI Spring Online Championships is here, with over $ 700,000 guaranteed

by KZ Poker

There is no break for WSOP MI tournament players as the operator deploys another Michigan online poker series with one already underway.

Starting this Sunday, May 1, the operator’s first WSOP Spring Online Championship will begin and will be much larger than the current WSOP online circuit series.

More than $ 700,000 is guaranteed for the first round of the WSOP MI Championships, culminating in the main event giving away an exclusive championship belt to the winner.

Unlike the currently running WSOP online circuit series, which awards a gold ring to each of the 12 winners, the Spring Online Championships series is designed for all types of players. The guarantees remain ambitious, most of which have a five-digit range even though the series is available exclusively to Michigan online poker players.

A total of 46 NLH Warm-Up events are offered [R&A] being the cheapest event in the lineup, it only costs $ 10 and runs every day. The High Rollers on each of the three Sundays in the schedule are the most expensive events that require players to enter $ 1,000 from their budget.

The rest of the schedule ranges from $ 33 to $ 320, with various tournament types such as playoffs, deep stacks, turbos, 6 hands and more.

At least three events will be held each day, which will open with the warm-up of the NLH, a repurchase and add-on event, followed by a $ 50,000 guaranteed Sunday special priced at $ 215 and a guaranteed High Roller of $ 30,000 to end the day at a cost. $ 1,000 for deep pocket players.

The schedule is more or less the same for the rest of the day, starting the day with a buy-back / add-on warm-up event with low bets, followed by a medium bet tournament and a high bet tournament . Guarantees increase over the weekend with the $ 215 purchase Sunday special seeing an increase of $ 75,000 on the second Sunday.

And finally, on May 15, the main event is priced the same as Sunday’s special but with a massive $ 150,000 guarantee. The main one is structured as a progressive elimination event (PKO), ie half of the purchase goes to the regular prize fund and the other half to the rewards fund. Rewards increase each time a player eliminates his opponent and half of the reward is awarded instantly.

This will be the operator’s second series of online tournaments since its launch in Michigan last month.

Michigan WSOP Online Circuit Series Crushing the Warranties

Meanwhile, the ongoing WSOP MI online circuit series is well underway. Seven of 12 ring events have ended and each has broken its guarantees.

The $ 75,000 NLH Monster Stack guaranteed last Sunday has generated, to date, the biggest prize in the series. With an entry fee of $ 215, the tournament attracted 403 unique players and 88 additional rewards, creating a few $ 100,000 in the accumulated prize pool.

Last night’s $ 1,000 High Roller purchase attracted nearly 100 tickets for a final prize of $ 91,680.

In total, the series has so far awarded $ 504,980 in prizes and there are still five more events left, including the big Sunday that guarantees $ 100,000.
