WPT Global Qualifiers score big paydays

At the WPT World Championship last December, two WPT global qualifiers grabbed their opportunities with both hands and bagged six-figure paydays.
LoriAnn Persinger won his seat in the $10,400 buy-in event from a social media sweepstakes and was able to turn his freeroll into a $119,000 payout. Persinger was able to make it to Day 5, but retired in 30th place after being on the wrong side of a coin toss.
of Ireland Stephen Kehoe was the WPT Global Qualifier that went the farthest in the event, finishing in 14th place for $269,900. Kehoe was able to enter the WPT World Championship for a fraction of the price as he secured his seat at the table after snagging a $550 WPT Global satellite.
